Bipasha Basu - The new 'Pantene' Girl

In an event in Mumbai yesterday, Bipasha was announched as the new Brand Ambassador for a Shampoor Brand.
For the event, Bipasha opted for a Fringed short dress (by designer Rajat Tangri), which had an embellished detailing at the bust. I really like the dress and Bipasha looked great; but the super straight hair, kind of ruined the look for me. Also the choice of the shoes could have been better.

The Good and the Bad - Priyanka Chopra

When it comes to Fashion, my expectations from Priyanka Chopra are not very high; and she herself is to be blamed for it.

But Priyanka took me by surprise, when she ended up attending a film Promo Launch, looking rather pretty.
She opted for a James Ferreira dress, and the color looked great on her. Im glad that she kept the look simple and added no accessories. Metallic Peep toes Pumps completed the look.

Switching from one event to the other; and Priyanka goes back to her usual unfashionable self. Everything about this look is terrible. The jumpsuit itself is really bad and shapeless. And the color does nothing good to her.

Hire a Stylist. Please Please.

At BG's Special Screening - Kareena and Karisma

The Kapoor Sisters, were photographed, at a special screening of Bodyguard.

Karisma opted for a casual look, and paired her Black top with Black Pants. And accessorized it with Black Sandals and a matching Chanel Bag.

Kareena on the other hand, seems to be stuck in her Bodyguard look. I know she has been promoting the film in this look only, but she could have changed it up for the screening. Or may be she came straight from a promotional event. Either ways, not liking the look.Have seen her do much better.

Katrina promotes MBKD

The gorgeous Katrina Kaif, was spotted at two different reality shows, to promote her upcoming film 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'. Like Kareena, Katrina was 'in character' too.

On the sets of X Factor, Katrina was seen wearing a white tee and distressed denims. A black vest, hoop earrings and black Boots completed the look.

On the other hand, Katrina opted for red denims and basic white tank top, on the 'Just Dance' sets. Black Boots and chain necklace completed her look.

A special mention for the flawless makeup.

Which one do you like more? I'm going with the Red denims look.

Esha Deol attended a Radio Event, named Eco Ganesha, wearing a suit. While iI love the color of the outfit itself, there's nothing praise worthy about the suit. The choice of Sandals, did not help either. The whole look is making her look older than she actually is.

Bipasha Basu at a Book Launch

For a Book launch, Bipasha opted for a Pink tiered - one shouldered dress, which looked great on her. Extra love for the doing the hair differently. Nude Peep toes completed the look.
Is it just me, or is the dress really short? Still, she carries it off really well.

Celebs at Neelam's Jewellery Store Launch

Actress/Socialite Neelam Kothari launched her own Jewelley Store in Mumbai yesterday. In attendance were Neelam's close friends.

First up, Twinkle continues to impress me with her impeccable sense of style. She teamed up her Grey Blazer with a grey tee and denims.A statement Neckpiece and a Orange Birkin completed her look. Perfect for a day event.

The hostess was spotted wearing a Black and White Striped Dress, with a Neckpiece and Nude Peep Toe Pumps. Neelam looks lovely, but not digging the dress.

Raveena continues to show why she is often spotted on 'worst dressed lists'. The Shiny Ruffled Top is doing no good to her. And so are those wedges.

Amrita looks cute in her Pink Dress but again, not a fan of the dress itself..

Sonam Kapoor promotes Mausam

Sonam Kapoor is busy promoting 'Mausam' these days. For a Radio Interview, Sonam was dressed in White Shirt and Black Cropped Pants. Completing the look were Black Shoes, Turquoise Blue Earrings and a B&W Tote. Simple and Effective.

Anushka Sharma at UTV Stars Promotional Event

Anushka always like to keep it Simple and Comfy. At a recent event, she was spotted wearing a Floral Jumpsuit with a black shrug. Adding to the look was a Black thin belt. While she looks gorgeous, the shoes kill the look for me. Simple flats would have been perfect.

Kareena Kapoor goes Desi

Kareena Kapoor is busy promoting her next release 'Bodyguard' these days. For an Interview, She opted for a Suit -Bright Pink Kurta and a contrasting Yellow Patiala Salwar (keeping in mind, her look for the film). A two-colored Dupatta and loads of Metal Bangles completed the look. While the colors look way too vibrant and loud, I think she is totally working the look. Agree?

Blazer Battle - Avantika Malik or Katrina Kaif?

Teaming up a blazer/jacket with a dress, is quite a trend this season.

Avantika Malik attended LFW Finale, wearing a Nude dress and paired it up with bright Orange Blazer and matching Pumps. Completing the look was a Nude Chanel Chain Bag.

On the other hand, Katrina was spotted wearing a Black Blazer at a promotional event, which she had teamed up over a plain Navy Blue dress and black flats.

While Katrina looks breath-takingly Gorgeous, she could have added on some colored accessories, like a statement neck piece or something. It would have brighten up the dull look.

Sonam Kapoor goes Vintage

While promoting her next release, Mausam, Sonam was spooted on KBC's sets wearing a gorgeous Collette Dinnigin dress. The dress looks divine on her, cos it has that old vintage feel to it. Complimenting the look, were curled hair sweep-ed to one side and Red lips. Georgio Armani flats completed the look. Stunning, as always.

Kareena walks for Manish Malhotra

Looking like a dream, walking like a princess, was Kareena kapoor, who graced Manish Malhotra's show by being the Star Showstopper. She wore a gorgeous cream gown by the designer. Personally, I'm not a fan of tiered gowns. I like the Silver Sequined Bodice till the waist. Not a fan of the frilly tiered layers. Overall, She looks like a DIVA. what say?

Kareena Kapoor - Face of Lakme Absolute

Kareena is the first ever Bollywood Actress to be appointed as the Brand Ambassador for Lakme Products.
She is the face of their new range of Products, named 'Lakme Absolute'.
For the Press Conference, Kareena opted for a Black and Silver Sequins Dress by Designers, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna.
Kareena looks Beautiful as always, but I think the dress could have been better accessorized.
Doing up her hair differently would be a welcome change; a change which needs to happen asap.
Black Pumps completed her look.

Red Hot - Neha Dhupia

Neha Dhupia looked Stunning wearing a Victoria Beckham dress at a show at LFW. She totally owns the look. The color looks great on her. Completing the look was a Gorgeous Kundan Necklace and a Black Clutch with Peep Toe Pumps. Lurve.

The Designer herself, was spotted wearing her own creation, sometime ago.

Supporting Kareena - Amrita Arora and Karisma Kapoor

BFF Amrita Arora and Sister Karisma Kapoor, were in attendance at Manish's Show to support Kareena Kapoor, who was the Star showstopper.

Amrita was seen wearing a Strapless Blue Maxi Dress, looking very pretty. I love the way she complimented the dress with Golden accessories - a Collar shaped Neckpiece and a Jimmy Choo Clutch.

Karisma, on the other hand, was an utter disaster. What made her pair the Black Chiffon Dress with Denims? Cardinal Sin. Disappointed.

Supporting Manish Malhotra - Deepika and Katrina

Bollywood beauties and arch rivals, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone, attended the Finale Show of LFW, to show their support for designer, Manish Malhotra.

For the event, Deepika opted for a Plain Black Vest and paired it up with matching Black Shorts. Completing the look was a Chain Necklace, a sling bag and Nude Pumps. Love the Hair and the Make up. Deepika's look would have been perfect, if she had put on a Blazer/Jacket. Like this.

Katrina attended the show wearing a White floor length anarkali by the designer himself. The color looks nice on her and I love the use of the pink at the bottom. She kept the accessories to the bare minimum and added just a pair of Drop Earrings.

Oops.. She did it again - Katrina Kaif

Katrina attended an event at a college in Mumbai as a part of  the promotional strategy for her upcoming film 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'. She opted for a Black and White Pin Striped Top and a Black Skirt.Completing the look were Thong Sandals and Hoop earrings.I'm not even a bit excited about this look. Boring is the word.

Katrina wore a similar look a while ago, when promoting her last release 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'. I like this look better with the Lemon Yellow Blouse and Black Pleated Skirt. Completing the look were the same thong Sandals.

Amisha Patel at LFW

Amisha is the perfect example, of how bad styling can make a Pretty girl look really tacky.
What was she thinking when she opted for the White Vest and that hideous Sequinned Denim Skirt. Adding to the misery, were those wedges. Hire a Stylist, will u please?

Like Mother, Like Daughter - Sridevi and Jhanvi Kapoor

Sridevi attended Designer Neeta Lulla's show, looking absolutely Gorgeous (like always) wearing a Brown off sholduer Donna Karan Dress. The dress looked great on her and further accentuated her figure. Sri complimented the dress by adding on a thin black belt and ankle strap Sandals. Love the pulled back hair.

Accompanying Mommy dearest was daughter, Jhanvi Kapoor, wearing a Black and Cream Herve Leger dress. How pretty does she look. For a teenage girl to make such a mature choice, is quite commendable. The shoes could have been better but Im totally ready to overlook them.

Sonam kapoor at PFA fundraiser exhibition

Gracing a Charity event was Sonam Kapoor wearing a Cream one shoulder Lanvin Dress. As usual, she looked FAB. She never ceases to impress me. Lurve.

In Sabyasachi Saree - Vidya Balan or Shraddha Kapoor?

The best way to show your support for a Designer is by attending his/her show wearing their creations.
Vidya Balan and Shraddha Kapoor attended Sabyasachi's Show wearing Sarees by the designer.

We all know Vidya is a Sabya loyalist. She attended the show wearing a Beautiful white saree with golden border. I absolutely love the fact that she paired the saree with a Pink blouse. Big Chand Bali Earrings and a black Potli bag completed the look.

Personally, Im not a big fan of Floral Prints. But Shraddha, in this Floral Saree, is an instant like. Offsetting the Print, was a Orange blouse. I think she looks lovely as always. A clutch completed the look.

We have seen Vidya in hundreds of Sabya creations, so this time Shraddha wins for me.

Sridevi at Sabyasachi's Show at LFW

The Stunning Sridevi attended designer Sabyasachi's show yesterday at the ongoing LFW. 

The 'Hawa Hawaii' girl opted for a gorgeous bottle green saree with Golden Detailing at the borders. Contrasting the saree was a rich red-colored Blouse.

I know red and green is a safe combo, but it always works.

Completing the look were Beautiful Jhumka Earrings and a black clutch. Double Thumbs Up.

In Sabyasachi Maxi Dress - Rani Mukherjee or Arpita Khan?

Wearing gorgeous Sabyasachi Maxi dresses were Rani Mukherjee and Arpita Khan.

Rani wore this gorgeous Red/ Maroon Maxi at an event in New York. Really like the color on her. Chand Bali Earring completed her look.

Arpita attended designer, Sabyasachi's show at the ongoing LFW, wearing a Maxi Dress by the designer himself. Unlike Rani, Arpita opted for a colorful Print Maxi. She looks great.

My vote goes to Arpita. And yours?

Doing Saree Differently - Manasi Scott and Sona Mahopatra

Ditching the regular sarees, were singers Manasi Scott and Sona Mahopatra, at the LFW Day 3.

Manasi opted for a White and Golden-Yellow Masaba G Saree. She carried off the saree well and kept her accessories minimal, letting the saree draw all the attention. A Bottega Veneta Knot clutch completed the look.

On the other hand, Sona continued to show her loyalty to Designer Kallol Dutta, and opted a B&W Print Saree by the designer. Its nice to see her experiment with the saree, by pairing it with a Black Tunic but somehow it didn't work for me.

Who does your vote go to? I'm going with Manasi.

Preity Zinta at her TV Show Launch

 Preity Zinta is back on the small screen with a new talk show named 'Up, Close and Personal with PZ'. 

For the Event, Preity opted for a LBD (Little Black Dress). I'm not really liking the dress. And i think, the Half Plain, Half Shiny detailing, is to be blamed. Thumbs Down.

Black Pumps completed the look.

(Wo) Men in Black

Shobha De, Nita Ambani and Anjali Tendulkar were in attendance too at the Real Hero Awards. All the three of them wore Black outfits but the similarity ends right there. Their outfits were completely different from one another.
 
Shobha looked gorgeous wearing a simple Black Saree with a white beaded necklace. I wish she had opted for a better clutch. A traditional Potli bag would have been perfect.

Ms. Ambani looked radiant in her Black and White Suit. I loved the way she broke the B&W Monotony by adding in Red accessories. Black Peep toes Pumps completed the look.

As lovely as Anjali Tendulkar is, I'm a little disappointed with her look at the event. Anjali went in for an 'All Black' look by pairing her black top (which was a lil see-through under the camera flash)  with matching black pants. Completing her look was a black Dior bag.

Who is your favorite amongst these three? My vote goes to Nita.

Karisma Kapoor at Real Hero Awards 2011

Karisma Kapoor attended the Real Hero Awards 2011, looking absolutely Stunning, wearing a White Salwar/Churidaar Kameez with Silver detailing.

Karisma, as usual, looks radiant and beautiful but somehow, I'm not liking the outfit. Looks a little Tv-soap-ish to me, but the color looks great on her.

Earrings and a Potli Bag completed the look.

Kareena Kapoor graces the cover for Filmfare August Issue

Filmfare's latest issue has Kareena Kapoor on the cover, with the magazine declaring her as the Heroine No. 1. Kareena is wearing a Gauri Nainika Polka dotted dress on the cover.

I am loving the whole Retro feel of the Photo-spread. Its Fun, girly and flirty. Thumbs Up.

My favorite shots are Pic No. 4 where Kareena is wearing the same Gauri Nainika Dress (as on the cover) holding balloons and the last shot with her wearing a Cute shirt and Red high waisted Jelin George Skirt

Shraddha Kapoor at Nishika Lulla's Show at LFW

Shraddha Kapoor attended designer Nishika Lulla's show at LFW - Day 1.

Showing her complete support for the Designer, She attended the show wearing a Nishika Lulla Creation. 

While I absolutely adore the color, the dress itself is yawn-worthy. Blame it on the criss-cross detailing.

Blue Shoes and a matching necklace, could not salvage the look either. And that Bag looks completely out of place. Disappointed.
